With my sweet Shar pei pup having her eye surgery I am now attached at the hip with her. She needs constant supervision to be sure she isn’t scratching at her face. Yes, she has a cone of shame (a nice fancy comfy cone I bought online, much nicer than the hard plastic). But, due to her wrinkles it’s difficult to get it tight without knowing if it’s too tight. Also, she gets it really dirty when eating and drinking, along with a very wet chin and neck. This requires cone removal for cleaning, neck dry time, and generous rubs of the wrinkles.
My poor girl.
But i can’t take the kids to the splash pad, or go to the store…or anywhere really. Homebound. For 2 weeks.
But my pup is worth it. And this also means no people to deal with.
